Frequently Asked Questions

Atana and Atana Insights

  • What is Atana and what is Atana Insights?

Media Partners is now Atana! Our new company name, Atana, is a reflection of our mission to help organizations attain the type of workplace and culture they aspire to. We’ve also introduced a new product, Atana Insights, which is an analytics engine that measures the impact that our courses make on learners.

  • Which of my courses will show data on the Atana Insights dashboard?

The latest versions of the five courses below are compatible with Atana Insights:

    • How Was Your Day? Getting Real about Bias, Diversity and Inclusion, and Harassment (Version 3)
    • Unintentional Still Hurts: Overcoming Unconscious Bias(Version 2)
    • Once & For All: Stopping Sexual Harassment at Work(Version 4)
    • Getting Real about Workplace Violence (Version 2)
    • Uncomfortable Conversations (Version 1)
  • Can I still access MediaPartners.com and the products listed on that website?

Yes! At this time, the Media Partners website and most of the titles listed are still available from your Atana Sales Representative.

  • When will I start seeing data on my Atana Insights dashboard?

There are some milestones to hit before receiving your insights. One milestone, for example, would require a percentage of your company to have taken the new course before data will populate. We are monitoring your progress and will be reaching out to you to discuss the next steps for your organization.

  • Is there an added cost with these new changes?

For all existing customers eligible for Atana Insights, your dashboard will be included in your current license.

  • What features does the dashboard have?

The dashboard includes data based on your learners’ interactions with the course(s) and we measure several different data points. You can learn more about the insights here and stay tuned for more features being added in the future

  • Do I need a login for Atana.com?

The Atana Insights dashboard and Customer Portal can be accessed from mediapartners.com or atana.com and do not require separate login credentials. Customers will be notified of any changes to the login process.

Online Previewing

  • Why aren't the online previews working for me?

We're sorry to hear that you are having difficulties viewing our previews. Here are some suggestions that may help you:

    • Be sure you have allowed ‘cookies’ for our website (either that they are turned on for all sites or that our site specifically is allowed). Our site requires cookies to operate correctly.
    • Check the version of the browser you are using. For our site, you will need Chrome 42+, Internet Explorer 11+, Edge 40+, Firefox 40+, Safari 9+, or for mobile, Android 5+ or iOS 9.2+.
    • If you have a firewall in your organization, ensure that it allows streaming video. Contact your IT department or network administrator to confirm this.
    • Check your Internet connection speed. If it is a dial-up or anything slower than a DSL or cable modem, you may not be able to view the training preview properly.

 Course Details

  • Is there a certificate of completion at the end of the training?

Yes, the courses can be configured to include a certificate of completion.
  • Is there a certain score you need to pass the training?

Yes. We typically set the default passing score at 80% but can configure this score to meet your training needs.
  • Can an employee retake a course?

Yes. Once a learner has finished a course, they can simply open the navigation menu on the left and select the topic they want to jump back to and review.

Upon re-entering some courses, learners may have an option to restart the course. However, we do not recommend that for reviewing since it will also signal to the hosting LMS that the learner has restarted the course and cleared out their current completion status.

  • Does Atana training Track Completion Status?

Yes. Whether you host the content on your LMS or train your workforce on our platform, the platform tracks and records a learner’s progress toward course completion.

  • How long are the courses? And, do they have to be taken all at once?

Course lengths vary by title but generally range from 30 to 45 minutes. You can view course times for any product at the top of the product page.

We have designed our courses in modules; learners can work through the modules in a single session or complete them one by one on different days/times. Learners can also exit mid-course. They will be returned at the point they left when they re-enter the course.

  • How old are the courses?

Course ages vary. We update them regularly. The most recent version of a course has typically been updated within the last 3-12 months.

  • How long do I have access to Atana online training?

Our standard online training license is 12 months, so your learners will have up to a year to complete the course/s.  We also provide longer-term licenses for organizations who wish to optimize learning continuity and maximize ROI.

  • How can I view what topics are covered in a training course?

The learning objectives vary by course and are usually displayed at the start of the training. Your best option for understanding the scope of a course is to register on our website, and then view the full course preview.

  • My company wants to add or remove some material in the course, do you allow that?

Yes. We provide various customization options for our courses. To learn more, contact us by chat or phone at 800-408-5657.

  • Are your courses offered in languages other than English?

Yes. We offer our courses in both Spanish and English.

  • Do your courses come with Closed Captions?

    Yes.

  • Is eLearning the only delivery option for Atana courses?

eLearning is the delivery format we provide for Atana courses so that the learning can be tracked through the Atana Insights dashboard. If you have special circumstances that require a different delivery option, please contact us.

  • Are Atana eLearning courses compatible with my LMS?

Our training courses are provided in SCORM 1.2 format.  This format has been well established with most LMS.   In certain circumstances we can provide SCORM 2004 format or TinCan format.
